  1. Looooove the Boston detail pics – sometimes in the bustle we can overlook the beauty of home. And we just visited friends in Charleston, so it’s super fun to recognize some of those snaps, too. Great Saturday morning smiles!

    1. Thank you very much! I gather you’re from Boston? So it’s even nicer to hear you like my details 🙂 Hope you had a good time in Charleston (without experiencing the flooding!), and am happy to provide the smiles for you!

      1. Indeed, and being a poor photographer, I go gaga for great snaps of the place. And we loved Charleston – I used to visit as a child, so was quite excited to return as an ‘adult.’ 🙂

  2. I agree, you have a great eye for detail. But I have to disagree that you would not be able to capture the whole scenery. How is your trip going so far? Hope it is the best!

    Enjoy your time!

    Warm regards,

    1. No, it’s really true – and I don’t mean this negatively, it’s just that some kinds of photography, like landscapes and architecture, are just not my typical thing, so I often don’t know how to get things into a good pic. I could read up on it and practice, but I guess I’m just more interested in detail and food photography 🙂

      1. I think you can pick it up indeed, but you’re right: if you have different talents focus on them. Just wanted make sure that you did not mean that you can’t do it 😉

        Happy Monday!

  3. I like the way you focus our attention on the quirky details and unusual viewpoints we might normally miss! And I think I have a photo of that same gravestone, with the skull . . .

    1. Thank you, Kerry!
Regarding the gravestone – I realised after posting that this one was actually taken in Concord, so I guess this is cheating 😉
