I see you have taken more interest in portraits recently Kiki. Normally a lighter background is recommended but in this case it adds more to the gothic feel.

I am more interested in portraits than before, I guess, but I shy away from it because my vision of a portrait does not usually turn into what someone wanting their portrait taken typically expects 🙂 . So I am very lucky to have a friend who initiates such portrait sessions and does not expect anything conventional.
